Spatial planning concept for Nieuw Hanenburg, The Hague

Situation
Quick football and cricket club in The Hague wants to upgrade its sport facilities (including a new clubhouse). With this in mind, the club committee asked Staedion housing association to collaborate with Blijvend Goed to explore the possibilities. This resulted in an ambitious plan: a reorganisation of the site to create space for the realisation of housing, which, in turn, will finance the new facilities and the clubhouse.
Our contribution
Blijvend Goed is responsible for the spatial planning concept and the PR support for building a support base among committee members, club members, local residents, the municipality etc.
Design
- reorganisation of the sport complex
- spatial planning design (housing, clubhouse, landscape, infrastructure)
Analysis and advice
- translate the needs and preferences of the Quick Committee
- first check against policy lines (structural vision The Hague/Kijk Duin)
- draw up communication and PR plan
Execution
- visual development of plan a.s.a.p. DPI in The Hague
- develop PR and communication tools, co-organise information sessions
Status
- build support base for the further development of the spatial planning concept
